Alwun House is Downtown Phoenix’s vanguard art gallery and outdoor multimedia venue. Easily accessible from downtown Phoenix via the I-10, it’s the perfect place to host those special life events such as your unique destination wedding. This creative event space, located in the historic Garfield neighborhood, can host small gatherings up to 300 guests.
We provide a flexible venue for any special occasion. Picture your event at the Historic Alwun House, surrounded by intimate flagstone patios, lush landscaping with an illuminating ambiance, bar setup, and a stage for ceremony, dance floor or band performances. The patios can accommodate up to 100 people seated for dinner, or up to 300 for an open reception sans dinner tables.
Rental of the Alwun House facility includes use of our tables and chairs, food buffet tent and separate bar service area, stage, dressing room and both garden patios. Gallery use is optional and adds a classy destination location ambiance. Our gardens make for a beautiful canvas for you to personalize your event decorations per your thematic dreams. There are multiple areas to stage a ceremony, even the front yard lawn can be used for ceremonies. The lush front yard also becomes a perfect space to pose for those precious personal family photos to preserve your memories. Access is granted the entire day, allowing you time to setup and decorate in the morning, then host the event in the afternoon/evening. We permit self-catering, professional catering, even food trucks are an option. It’s pack-it-in and pack-it-out in the one day. You will also have access to safe, well-lit parking for 30 vehicles adjacent to the property.
