Join others around the world in celebrating Earth Day, as Natural Rhythm One will take guests back to the basics of artistic expression from the tribal roots of rhythm, voice and movement – by bringing together the Valley’s finest poets, dancers, and musicians for a once-in-a-lifetime “fusion” of music, dance and voice.

The FUSION Foundation presents “Natural Rhythm One,” a community collaboration celebrating Earth Day 2012, staged around the cultural oasis of Alwun House landscaped gardens. Presented by Sechler, CPA

Natural Rhythm One begins with the sacred act of planting a tree, the first tree installation to be planted in the cultural asset, Alwun House Green Art Park. The tree planting is part of the “Healing Trees” program, a state-wide program that offers remembrance to those who died and were injured in the Tucson, Arizona shootings on January 8, 2011.

Salon des Enfants

Phoenix Elementary School District #1 Art Teachers band together to create this juried exhibit of their students best work.

There will be approximately 300 pieces made by students in the 5th through 8th grades, representing 16 Schools, and 18 teachers. All art works sell for $20 with 100% going to student artist. Support the importance of arts in our schools.

March 23rd, 4-6pm. Opening Performances:
Student bands, choirs, and dance ensembles groups. The public is invited to stop by after work, and enjoy this “feel good” show, and make the day of your child within. Popular naive art sells right off the wall, quickly replaced with more. Punch and Cookies served.

Opens with the most talked about Valentine art party tradition in town. It features eye-poppin’, heart-thumpin’ edgy entertainment on two stages, with two floors of exotic art. Outrageous tribal-fusion cabaret, belly dancers, festive revelry, roving exotic sideshow characters blur the line between performance and spectator.

Artists are banding together to give back to Alwun House. These artists and visitors alike know that Alwun House needs more parking and expanded space for community events, so all contributions go toward developing two adjacent vacant lots into a Green Art Park.
